With all the sports we watch around here, my list this week is thirteen of the best sports movies of all time......in no particular order.1. Fever Pitch.....I like Drew Barrymore and when we went to Boston after the curse was broken, we looked for lots of landmarks we saw in the movie. The guy on stilts was in the movie.
2. The Babe.....my dad would not agree with this one, he thinks Babe Ruth is the best ball player ever....he thinks that movie made him look fat and dumpy.
3. Pride of the Yankees.......Gary Cooper as Lou Gerhig.....the luckiest man on the face of the earth......what a great speech.
4. Major League........funny movie Charlie Sheen as wild thing......my dad has seen this movie so many times and still it just cracks him up.
5. Field of Dreams......what can I say maybe the best sports movie ever.
6. Remember The Titans.......yep a football movie......Denzel Washington it may be a little predictable, but a great movie none the less.
7. Brian's Song........you will need a box of tissue, great movie based off a true story of Brian Piccolo and Gayle Sayer.
8. Rocky........The first one.....after the second and the third ect, it got dumb
9. Million Dollar Baby......Clint Eastwood and Hilary Swank, great story and great boxing scenes Morgan Freeman was great, just an excellent movie.
10. A leauge of Their Own........a great cast......Madonna, Rosie, Tom Hanks.....it is funny and sad and historical, I got to see some of the places in the movie around Kenosha.
11. The Natural........most ball players love this movie....the bat named wonder boy.....
12. Cinderella Man......when I finally sat down and watched this movie I loved it. I love the historical kind of movies and this one was great....
13. 61........Roger Maris hits 61 homeruns in 1961......Yankee fans wanted Mickey Mantle to break the babes record and Roger was not a fan favorite...he was just a nice guy.

Fever Pitch was good. The Babe is one of my favorites. Major League is hilarious. A League of their own is my favorite baseball movie of all time. There's no crying in baseball.
Great post on Baseball. The Babe always was my favorite and one class act.
Sorry but I forgot to add that my TT is up now!
You can visit my TT here.
Remember the Titans is a great movie!
I also like The Replacements very much, you know that as well?
Happy TT and greets

Gotta check out Best of the Best...it's a cheesy 80'0 taekwondo movie but the last line of the movie is one of the best last lines ever. Great list.
I have watched Sandlot so many times because it was my son's favorite. I think we have watch most of those many times over.
Oh yes we own everyone of these movies. I still cry when I want Brian's Song. Happy TT
